My dear sweet Dominic, 11 years ago today was the first time I held you in my arms. My first day of motherhood. I remember how beautiful you were, so tiny and so very innocent cradled in my arms. I remember the instant feeling of pure joy that you brought into my life, along with a fear of never wanting to let you down. I always told you that you carry a piece of my heart with you, and I hope it’s taking good care of you now. I wish I could see you and hold you, kiss you and hug you. I want to tell you how amazing you are and watch you laugh and smile. I want you to know that I love you. I miss you and I will always remember everything about you. I’ll remember the good times and bad, because they were all special... they were with you!
